The Xen<\/strong> hypervisor is swift. A server with a 12- or 16-core Xeon and 64 GB of RAM will support at least 10 to 20 Linux server instances, depending on the services used and the performance expected.<\/p>

Xen<\/strong> is so lightweight that a micro-machine with an Atom N2800<\/a> with 4 GB of RAM will still allow 3 instances: one for hypervisor control and technical tasks, and two production server instances.
